Together, We Build Inclusive Communities
The organisations, groups and everyday champions who stand with us make our work possible.
This page celebrates the people who help us create spaces where neurodivergent adults can connect, belong and thrive.
At WnD, our community work is possible because of the brilliant people, organisations and local groups who believe in inclusion just as much as we do.
Our Community Partners & Champions support us by sharing space, ideas, lived experience, and enthusiasm, helping us reach more neurodivergent adults in ways that feel human, accessible and joyful.
This page celebrates them.
And if you’d like to join this growing network, you’re absolutely welcome.
Our Community Partners
These are the organisations that open their doors to us, share their space, and work alongside us to bring inclusive, creative and low-pressure sessions to local neurodivergent adults.
Our programmes wouldn’t be the same without their energy, generosity and trust.
Nottingham City Libraries (central in particular) is our community partner for the Neuro-Inclusive Book Club. Their team provides a welcoming, accessible space where neurodivergent adults can connect, relax and explore stories together.

Community Champions
Our Community Champions are the people who support our work in simple but meaningful ways,
like sharing opportunities, connecting us with local groups, spreading the word, and helping us reach neurodivergent adults who might not otherwise find us.
They’re not official partners or staff.
They’re the humans who show up, cheer us on, and make our community stronger just by being part of it.
Zoe & Phire
Dice & Balls CIC
Thanks to Zoe and Phire’s support, creativity and openness, we’ve been able to offer Roll for Inclusion in a space where neurodivergent adults feel relaxed, included and part of something meaningful. Their willingness to champion accessible play has helped us create a community space that feels safe, warm and genuinely welcoming.
Our Community Champions are the people who quietly make everything we do a little brighter and a little easier. They share our events with their networks, introduce us to local groups and welcoming spaces, and help new attendees feel comfortable when they first walk through the door. Some amplify ND-positive messages in their own communities, while others offer lived experience that helps shape our sessions in really meaningful ways.
There’s no formal commitment and no tasks to complete; it’s simply people helping people, in the background or at the edges, in ways that strengthen the whole community
So, bottom line is… Anyone can! Just reach out and let us know you’d like to be involved in a light-touch,
low-pressure way.

Special Feature
GedlingCAN: Growing Community, Growing Inclusion
This month, we’re celebrating Gedling Community Action Network (GedlingCAN), a partner whose grassroots energy and local knowledge have helped us grow faster than we imagined across the Gedling borough.
At Work’n’Diversity, our mission is to create neuroinclusive spaces where adults feel understood, supported and able to thrive. That work only becomes possible when we connect with the right communities, and GedlingCAN has been instrumental in opening those doors.
Thanks to their introductions, insights, and on-the-ground understanding of what local people need, we’ve been able to expand our programmes, build meaningful relationships, and ensure neurodivergent adults in Gedling have real access to welcoming, accessible opportunities close to home.
As we continue to grow, partnerships like this remind us why community-rooted work matters: inclusion isn’t built in isolation: it’s built together, with organisations who care as deeply as we do about making Nottingham a place where everyone belongs.
We’re proud to spotlight GedlingCAN this month, and excited for everything we’ll create together next.
